In fall 2025, Karen Werner created Night Air as part of the contemporary art triennial Bergen Assembly in Bergen, Norway.

Night Air was a radio art work broadcasting live from Bergen Kunsthall each night at 22:00 for the sixty evenings of Bergen Assembly.

Each night a different person, almost all non-professional singers, sang the city of Bergen, Norway, to sleep, their
lullabies carried on AM, FM and shortwave signals.

The complete collection of Night Air lullabies is now presente here as Non-stop Lullabies, 19-29 March 2026,
24 hours a day on Radio Multe.

Non-stop Lullabies accompanies a performance
organized by artist Michikazu Matsune called
"Soft Collapse (Insomnia for Beginners)“
held at Tanzquartier in Vienna, Austria
19-21 March 2026

Michikazu Matsune is also organizing a symposium,
"Beyond Sleep“ by The Institute of Sleepless Nights
21 March 2026
which Karen Werner will join
to discuss Non-stop Lullabies
